Classroom Placements for 2019

During Term 4 teachers will start to formulate class lists for 2019.  Student placements are planned very carefully with a number of factors taken into consideration, including:

  • Academic performance
  • Social skills
  • Behaviour
  • Special needs
  • Friendship groups
  • Parent comments/requests

Parents are asked to assist us in our planning by letting us know if their child will not be returning to our school in 2018 or by providing comments/requests regarding their child’s placement.

Comments and requests should be addressed to the principal and must be received in writing by Friday 26 October 2018.  The Principal will consider all requests in conjunction with school organisational needs as well as professional advice from staff.  Requests for specific teachers will not be considered. Letters may be delivered to the front office or emailed to: tuarthill.ps@education.wa.edu.au

Student placements will be finalised on Friday, 01 February and posted onto the school window at 3.00 p.m.
