Year 6 Graduation Tuesday 11 December 2018

Congratulations to our Year Six students on your graduation from Tuart Hill Primary School, to your various Secondary School destinations. We wish you every success as you enter the next chapter in your lives.

All the presenters on Tuesday evening spoke on the same theme – we reminded you to never stop learning, to keep pushing to do better, to set yourself to solve problems and to trust yourself.

As a school community, we believe we have equipped our students with a top Primary School education, we know our students themselves have youth and exuberance.  The third weapon our young people need to tackle life comes with some hard knocks, some brutal experience and spectacular failures – wisdom.  Wisdom is hard won, but will come – only if we use our education and passion to push boundaries, challenge ourselves and explore the many different paths that are laid out before us.

In the words of Nelson Mandela – ‘Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world’. He said – ‘A good head and a good heart are always a most formidable combination.  But when you add to that a literate tongue or pen, you have something very special.’
